‘King Khan’ Injured on Sets of ‘King’

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, fondly known as “King Khan,” has reportedly suffered an injury while filming his upcoming action-packed movie ‘King’. The actor, known for his dedication to high-octane stunts, recently underwent surgery in the United States and has been advised by doctors to take a month-long rest before resuming work.
According to sources close to the production, Shah Rukh sustained the injury while performing an intense action sequence for ‘King’, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film, which promises to be a stylish thriller, features SRK in a rugged, physically demanding role. While details of the exact nature of the injury remain undisclosed, insiders suggest it was severe enough to require immediate medical attention overseas. This isn’t the first time Shah Rukh has pushed his limits for a role. Over the years, he has performed many of his own stunts, from high-speed chases in ‘Don’ to hand-to-hand combat scenes in ‘Pathaan’. However, this recent incident highlights the risks involved in such high-energy filmmaking.
Shah Rukh Khan flew to the US for specialized treatment, where he underwent surgery. Medical experts have recommended at least four weeks of rest to ensure a full recovery before he can return to shooting. Given his packed schedule—with ‘King’ being one of multiple projects in the pipeline—this delay could impact the film’s production timeline.
A source close to the actor shared, “Shah Rukh is a perfectionist and hates delays, but health comes first. The production team is adjusting schedules to accommodate his recovery.”
