BJP-RSS Deadlock Over Next Party President

The matter of selecting the new BJP president is becoming increasingly complicated. According to sources, both the BJP and the RSS are unable to reach a consensus on a single name. Amid this deepening suspense, a crucial discussion took place on June 16 in New Delhi between top leaders of the RSS and the BJP. Sources say that three leaders from each side participated in this meeting. The conversation initially began with an assessment of the upcoming elections in Bihar and West Bengal. It was also decided that in these two states, the RSS would carry out a door-to-door campaign similar to the ones in the Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections. Eventually, the conversation shifted to the core issue—why is the selection of the new BJP president taking so long? On this, BJP leaders present in the meeting asked the RSS if they had any particular names in mind, they could share them with the party leadership, and once a decision is made at the top, the RSS would be informed. It is said that the RSS appeared somewhat uncomfortable with this proposal from the BJP leaders. The RSS made its stance clear, stating, “Please don’t act in a manner that implies the BJP has become bigger than the RSS. Always remember that the RSS is the mothership from which the BJP was born. We consider the BJP as one of our affiliated organizations. So, it would be better if your top leadership seriously considers a few names and sends that list to us. We will promptly inform you of our decision. And mind you, it is not necessary that the name we finalize will be from your list.” Given the RSS’s changed tone and posture, the BJP may now reconsider the name of its new president, making sure that the final name is equally acceptable to the RSS.

These 50 Days Will Bring Turmoil to the Entire World

Several renowned astrologers and scholars in India have unanimously predicted that the next 50 days, starting from June 7th will bring intense upheaval and chaos across the globe. This is because Mars has entered its friendly sign, Leo, while Ketu (another fiery planet) has already been positioned in Leo since May 29th. This is an extremely explosive conjunction—the first such alignment in 36 years since 1989—and its impact will be felt worldwide. Known astrologers like Acharya Salil and Acharya Mukesh Vats have made strikingly similar predictions, which are nothing short of alarming. According to these astrologers, the next 50 days may see an increased risk of plane crashes. Global losses due to fires are likely, while tensions between nations could escalate, potentially leading to war-like situations. Countries already embroiled in conflict may experience heightened violence, including the use of large, devastating bombs. Several dormant volcanoes may become active, and there could also be the possibility of a tsunami. The careers of prominent world leaders could suddenly decline, and many countries may face political instability. The sun’s surface may experience violent turbulence, which could adversely affect satellite operations and communication systems. Political turmoil is expected to intensify, particularly in Southern Hemisphere nations, with some governments potentially being overthrown. Many parts of Europe may also feel the impact. High-ranking military officials might face crises. Terrorist activities may surge globally. In India, religious tensions could rise. China may also face significant internal disruption. The last time such a planetary alignment occurred — in 1989 — the world saw major events like: The dissolution of the Soviet Union. Poland elected its first non-communist Prime Minister, Tadeusz Mazowiecki, who served from 1989 to 1991. Major economic changes occurred. This time, similar transformations are anticipated. Those currently at the top may suffer dramatic falls, while those considered insignificant might rise to power — a case of paupers entering the race for kingship.

When will ‘One Nation, One Election’ begin?

You can consider the concept of ‘One Nation, One Election’ a ‘dream project’ of PM Modi. Ever since he took power in Delhi in 2014, he has continuously been working to promote this idea. The 2019 and 2024 general elections came and went but he could not give concrete shape to his plan. Sources who know him closely claim that the PM wants that “if possible, why not announce ‘One Nation, One Election’ simultaneously across the country along with the 2027 UP assembly elections.” However, there are two major obstacles in the way. First, the caste census will not be completed by then, and the Delimitation Commission is also asking for more time. Sources claim that the Delimitation Commission wants until 2032 to finalize the delimitation process nationwide. Meanwhile, the BJP is making every effort to materialize the PM’s ambitious plan in 2029 at the very least, if not 2027, disregarding the opposition’s protests. It will be interesting to see when the announcement of ‘One Nation, One Election’ is heard from the President.

BL Fuelling Two-Way Discontent

BJP’s organisational general secretary BL Santosh is caught in a strange dilemma these days. The RSS leadership has complaints against him, and the BJP is also already unhappy with him. Recently, the RSS clearly told Santosh that as the organisational general secretary, he is behaving as if he considers himself a pure BJP member. However, he was given this responsibility at the behest of the Sangh, with the understanding that he would convey the true sentiments of the Sangh to the BJP organisation and its top leadership. But for some time now, it has been observed that he takes his orders from the BJP and many times even ignores the words of the RSS. The Sangh explained this to Santosh with an example, stating, “We had requested you long ago that the names of the presidents of all the states and their election should be completed by the end of May, but even today many big states have not been able to get their presidents.” On the other hand, BJP’s top leadership is unhappy that Santosh, who was brought in to improve coordination between the BJP and the RSS, has instead confined himself to Karnataka’s saffron politics. His ambition to become Karnataka’s CM has grown, while internal factionalism within the party in Karnataka has intensified. The Congress government in the state is making one mistake after another, but the state BJP has failed to capitalize on them, while the party’s graph in the state is also continuously falling. Thus, clear indications are emerging that the BJP wants to distance itself from Santosh soon—and even the RSS, which has always marched in step with him, is likely to remain silent this time.

Which Capital is Kushwaha Looking For?

The Bihar assembly elections are around the corner and Upendra Kushwaha, the leader of Rashtriya Lok Morcha, an important ally of NDA, seems to be somewhat upset with the BJP leadership. During a recent visit to Delhi, Kushwaha reportedly met an old businessman friend at his residence. According to sources, he spoke openly about his frustrations. It is said that Kushwaha confided that when he was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the NDA, he was also assured that he would soon be made a minister at the Centre again. However, time passed, and he began to doubt this promise. For the past three months, he has been requesting an appointment with the Prime Minister, but no meeting has been scheduled so far. Typically, when the Prime Minister is too busy to accommodate such meetings, the Home Minister steps in and arranges a meeting with the concerned individual. But in Kushwaha’s case, this has not happened. What can be inferred from this?

Political Turmoil in Delhi’s Saffron Circles

Ever since the saffron hue has coated Delhi’s power corridors, the political murmurs behind the scenes refuse to fade. The first incident occurred on June 16, when, at the behest of the Delhi government and with the signature of Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor, the transfer and posting of 23 IAS officers were approved. Allegations surfaced that “only those officers tainted by corruption were given plum postings.” Soon after, on June 18, another uproar erupted within Delhi’s saffron camp. Accusations and counter-accusations began swirling within the BJP, with rumours gaining traction that a BJP corporator had offered a bribe of 70 lakh rupees to secure the position of Zone Chairman. What’s most surprising is that BJP’s own councillors are fueling these speculations.
