India Strongly Condemns Pakistan’s Ceasefire Violation

India and Pakistan had agreed to a ceasefire on Saturday evening, but just hours later, Pakistan violated the truce at multiple locations. India responded swiftly, with the Ministry of External Affairs holding a press conference around 11 PM.  During the press briefing, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that Pakistan had breached the agreement between the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of both countries to halt military actions. **”Pakistan has committed a grave violation of this agreement, and the Indian Army is responding to this breach. This incident is highly condemnable, and Pakistan must take responsibility for it,” Misri said.

He further added, “The Indian Army is closely monitoring the situation. We urge Pakistan to immediately take appropriate steps to stop these violations. Strict orders have been issued to the armed forces to deal with any aggression.”

India strongly protested Pakistan’s cross-border violations and directed the military to take necessary action. Vikram Misri made it clear that “the Indian Army is fully prepared to handle any situation.”
